SOPPA Requirements for Teachers
BEFORE using a technology product, app, online service, or program with your students, please read and follow the directions below.
- If the app or website requires STUDENTS to sign in OR collects personally identifiable information, the district must have a signed agreement stating the personally identifiable information collected from the students.
- Check this website to determine if the district has an agreement with the vendor or if no agreement is necessary.
- If the vendor or website is not listed, please contact Tim Kennedy and request an agreement. The program may not be used until a signed agreement is posted or it is determined that a signed agreement is not necessary.
