SOPPA Requirements for Teachers

BEFORE using a technology product, app, online service, or program with your students, please read and follow the directions below.

1. If the app or website requires STUDENTS to sign in OR collects personally identifiable information, the district must have a signed agreement stating the personally identifiable information collected from the students.
2. Check this website to determine if the district has an agreement with the vendor or if no agreement is necessary.
3. If the vendor or website is not listed, please contact Tim Kennedy and request an agreement.  The program may not be used until a signed agreement is posted or it is determined that a signed agreement is not necessary.
