Board of Education


Board Meetings

The Board of Education meets regularly each month at 6:00 p.m. at the Litchfield Building.  Special meetings may be called for other times and places to handle emergency business.

All meetings are open to the public except executive (closed) sessions, which are permitted by State Law to discuss certain subjects. All decisions, however, are made in public (open) session.

Mrs. Giddens was presented with the Volunteer Award by Assistant Principal / Athletic Director Mr. Thompson during the June 10, 2025 meeting of the Board of Education for volunteering in a significant manner during the 2024-2025 school year.

Officer Scudder was presented with the Bockler Award by Board of Education member Valerie Ragon during the June 10, 2025 meeting of the Board of Education for service Officer Scudder has provided to the students, staff & parents of Creve Coeur School District # 76.

Chris Reed, Masonic Lodge, was recognized for providing the Bike to Books Program as an opportunity for students enrolled at LaSalle Elementary School to support our students' literacy initiative. The Masonic Lodge is providing a new bicycle to a student who achieves the program goals.

Demolition of Homewood Heights School 

During the September 27, 2022 meeting of the Board of Education, the Board approved a Motion to consider the demolition of Homewood Heights. During the December 13, 2022 meeting of the Board of Education, the Board formally approved a proposal to demolish Homewood Heights.

The demolition of Homewood Heights School commenced on January 17, 2023.  The demolition was completed in the Spring of 2023.

 Mr. Giddens served on the Board of Education from 2015 - 2023.  Mrs.Pilkington served on the Board of Education from 2019 - 2023.
