Saladbars 2 Schools Program
Ms. Stewart, Food Services Director, submitted and received a Grant through the Saladbars 2 School Program which provides a new salad bar for the Food Service Programs provided at LaSalle Elementary & Parkview School. In addition, Ms. Stewart submitted and received a Grant through the Fresh Fruits and Vegetables Program which provided fresh fruits and vegetables for the new salad bars. Today, to celebrate our students enrolled at LaSalle Elementary School, a cookout was held. School administrators (Mrs. Woods, Mr. Yocum, Mr. Thompson) grilled hamburgers for our students. Board of Education members(Mrs. Keogel, Mrs. Stimeling, Mrs. Ragon) helped with serving the food provided for the cookout. We appreciate everyone's help making today a special occasion for our students enrolled at LaSalle Elementary School.
Recently, Dale Kirby (Maintenance Department) and Mr. Jason Thompson (Assistant Principal at Parkview School) were recognized by Superintendent Johnson for their help with the installation of the new playground at LaSalle Elementary School. A Ribbon-Cutting Ceremony is scheduled at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, May 15 at the new playground site during which the new playground will be dedicated to the students enrolled at LaSalle Elementary School.
The new playground at LaSalle Elementary School was formally dedicated to students enrolled at LaSalle Elementary School during a special ceremony on Wednesday, May 15, 2024 at 2:00 PM. The event was attended by students, staff, Board of Education members, parents, and representatives of the Village of Creve Coeur.
